Gabriella Herrera is a medical student from Tracy, California. She graduated with Bachelors Degree in Neurobiology and a minor in Ethnicity, Migration, and Rights. She is now completing her third year at Harvard Medical School, with plans to pursue a Medicine residency and focus on Latinx and community health. She will be taking a year off to begin the Masters degree program at Harvard's School of Public Health on the Social and Behavioral Sciences track. She intends to use these studies to have a deeper understanding of the social determinants of health, design and evaluate health interventions, and create space in the clinical setting that will help empower the Latinx community.
Kaila Dion graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, in 2014 and is currently a third year medical student at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. Throughout her first year at Tufts, she became increasingly involved with the Massachusetts Medical Society-Student Section (MMS-MSS). For 2015-2016, she was the MMS Tufts Chapter Chair as well as the MMS Membership Chair for the Student General Council plus alternate student representative of the MMS Committee on Women in Medicine.
Molly is a first-year obstetrics and gynecology resident at UCSF. She has done research on quality improvement in healthcare and worked with medically underserved populations to improve access to care for those in need. She serves as a mentor for high school and undergraduate students who hope to pursue careers in medicine. She hopes to become a leader in the field of women’s health. In her free time, she is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys writing.
